The Council offers a commercial waste collection service. All non-doemstic premises, including schools and charities must use a commerical waste service to dispose of their refuse.
The Environmental Proection Act 1990 provides detailed information on the responsiblites of business' with regard to commercial waste removal.

Business Rates do not cover the removal of waste from commercial premises.

The Commercial Waste staff work very closely with the Recycling officer. We can look at your waste stream and advise on recycling opportunities. We may be able to offer a recycling service that reduces your waste and collection costs whilst helping your company to stay green.
