Work Experience
Work Experience is an important part of Education for Employability which allows students to learn about the world of work in a "real life" working situation.
Pupils from the start of year ten can take part in work experience which allows pupils to learn about the world and experience the key skills needed in the workplace. Work experience placements are organised via your School or College. Please contact your School or College for further information.

Paid Work for School Age Pupils
Young people of compulsory school age often like to add to their pocket money by taking on a part-time job, such as delivering newspapers or working in a shop on Saturdays. But, there are laws and rules to be observed regarding the employment of young people to ensure that their education does not suffer and that they are safeguarded at work.
