Household waste - recycling centres

Lancashire County Council operates 19 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's) where householders can recycle their rubbish.

The opening hours at all of our HWRC's are:

8am - 7pm 1st March until 31st October
and 9am - 6pm 1st November until 28/29th February

Closed only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

Please note that if taking a large van or trailor down to any of the household waste centre's a permit would be required. We advise checking before going down to any of the centre's as you will be refused entry without this. To obtain a permit use the details below.
