Ribble Valley Borough Council

Recycling - composting

Service outline:

Composting is a way to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill sites.

Making your own compost saves you money by reducing the need to buy soil improvers and mulches. It also saves having to take garden waste down to the household waste centres.

Further information on where to get a compost bin, what to put in your bin, how to use compost is available here
