Tree preservation orders
Service outline:
Over the years the Local Authority has made a number of tree preservation orders (TPO) and together with the establishment of conservation areas, this ensures the protection of a large number of trees within the Borough.
A TPO is a piece of legislation that protects designated:
- Individual Trees
- Areas of Trees
- Groups of Trees
- Woodlands
