If you have any queries as to whether planning permission is needed before you start a development, you will need to complete and return a Request for Pre-application advice form, giving us all the relevant drawings, photos and information for us to look into your proposed development and answer your questions.

For any advice relating to the extension or alteration of an existing dwelling, there is no fee, but for other enquiries (for example, a new dwelling, or change of use) you will have to pay for pre-application advice. The scale of fees is included in the pre-application advice fees document.
