Recycling - household waste centres
Service outline:
Lancashire County Council operates 19 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's) where householders can recycle their rubbish.
The opening hours at all of the HWRC's are:
8am – 7pm 1st March until 31st October
and 9am – 6pm 1st November until 28/29th February
Closed only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

In addition, 3 HWRC's are operated by the Unitary Authorities of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council (George Street West, Blackburn and Springvale Road, Darwen) and Blackpool Borough Council (Bristol Avenue, Bispham). For information on these centres please contact the District Council directly.
