The Development control department helps to protect the environment in towns and the countryside.
- Planning: Residential - Information on residential planning such as conservatories and extensions
- Planning: Business - Information on commercial planning such as businesses, farms and advertisements
- Conservation Areas - There are many Conservation Areas within the Borough, this section answers questions associated with them
- Listed Buildings - There are many listed buildings within the Borough and special controls apply to all of these. This section provides a list of listed buildings within the area as well as answering many of the questions associated with them
- Planning Notices - Downloadable copies of the Weekly List, Weekly Decided List, Planning and Development Committee Agenda and the Appeals List
