Council tax

Ribble Valley Borough Council is responsible for collecting the Council Tax to pay for services provided by Lancashire County Council, the Borough Council and Lancashire Police Authority, Lancashire Combined Fire Authority.

This money, together with the revenue support grant provided by the Government and certain other sums, is used to pay for the services provided by Ribble Valley Borough Council and other local authorities in the area.
