Local Development Scheme
The Governments Planning Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 introduced major changes to the way planning policy system operates. A new system comprising a Local Development Framework (LDF) made up of a series of policy documents, now replaces the development plan system of structure plans, local plans and supplementary planning guidance.
