Black and Gold is the Platform Gallerys first exhibition of 2010 and will offer some of the most sought after craft makers from around Europe, specifically featuring graduates from the Royal College of Art, London.
The theme of this striking exhibition that unites this group of exhibitors is their restricted colour palette and portrayal of strong forms.
Black and Gold showcases a range of contemporary approaches towards craft, demonstrating the unique ways in which these makers push boundaries within their chosen material, resulting in a prestigious dislay of bold form where attention to detail becomes paramount.
Ribble Valley Mayor Councillor Beverly Jones will officially open the exhibition at 12 noon on Saturday 23rd January. Also available will be free refreshments and the opportunity to purchase exhibition entries using the Own Art scheme.
