Clitheroe Castle
Logo Competition
YOUNG Clitheroe artist Justine Porter has won the Keepers of the Castle logo competition.
The Bowland High School pupil was presented with a voucher for £100 after her logo was chosen as the campaign's official emblem.
The judges, Ribble Valley Mayor Mary Robinson, tourism and arts officer Rebecca Kay and Vivien Meath, editor of the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times, agreed that Justine's logo depicting the castle in good hands was outstanding.
Runners-up in the competition, which attracted dozens of entries, were Jack McKenzie (10), a pupil at Pendle Primary School, Clitheroe, and James Filder, who attends St James's CE Primary School in Clitheroe
