Clitheroe Castle
Keepers of the Castle Campaign
Pin badges promoting the Clitheroe Castle Heritage Scheme are now on sale in various retail outlets throughout Clitheroe.
The smart enamel badges feature a winning design by 12-year-old Justine porter, a pupil at Bowland High School, of the "Keepers of the Castle" logo.
Each badge sold - with a suggested donation of £1 - will boost the appeal to fund the major scheme.
The pin badges which could become furture collector's items, are already selling well at Clitheroe Tourist Information Centre and the Castle Museum, but now they are in more outlets throughout the town it is hoped sales will rocket.
A total of 2,500 have been produced so far, but more could be ordered if they sell out.
