Compilation is all about bringing you the best of the Platform Gallery this Christmas- a fantastic selection of high quality handcrafted items by some of the UK's top makers. From unique one-off pieces to quirky stocking fillers, you won't fail to find that special gift to impress your loved ones (or treat yourself!).

Over 100 different artists will be exhibiting, turning our gallery space into a unique Christmas shopping experience. Choose from glittering glassware, tactile textiles and ceramics both decorative and practical. Everything has been individually designed and made in the UK, with many makers coming from the local area.

We have gifts for all the family - handmade wooden toys for children, contemporary scarves, ties and accessories for men as well as jewellery in gold, silver, glass and acrylic by 30 different jewellers. Choose an extra special card from our hand made selection and give your home a festive feel with beautiful hand made decorations in glass and porcelain. With prices from £5 to £500, you are sure to find the perfect present for your budget!

Gallery opening hours for Christmas 2007:

Monday - Saturday 10am - 4.30pm
Sundays 2, 9, 16 December 11am - 4pm (closed Sunday 23 December) Christmas Eve 10am - 1pm
Closed 25 Dec - 1 Jan inclusive
Gallery re-opens Wed 2 Jan and Christmas exhibition ends Sat 5 Jan.
Shop and gallery closed for annual stocktake 7-11 Jan.
Shop re-opens Sat 12 Jan and new exhibition opens Sat 19 Jan.
