The main responsibility for planning rests with local planning authorities such as ourselves, so if you have any queries regarding planning permission we are here to give you advice.  Requests for pre-application advice require a completed request form, full supporting documentation, and a fee where necessary.

Please address all enquiries by post or email to the Building and Development Control Manager.

Please note that observations on planning applications can be read by the applicant and will form part of a public record in future - anyone can see your comments at any time. 

You can use these contact details to submit your comments on planning applications provided that any emails do not contain images or banned document types, and that attached documents do not use software unavailable to Ribble Valley Borough Council.  You can also submit your comments using our online form.

Please note: a valid comment should contain your name and postal address, together with application number and site address of the development you are commenting on.
