Falling from heights is a major cause of death and serious disability. From the moment you leave the ground, even at a relatively small height, you are at risk and invariably working in trees requires working at considerable heights. e.g. A 45 year old self taught tree contractor died as a result of a fractured skull after he fell 9m from the top of a beech tree.
