Things to check before making an application
Whenever and wherever a planning application is being prepared for a site on which trees, woodlands and hedgerows are located. You are advised to check with the planning department for any of the following:
- any tree preservation orders affecting the site
- whether trees, woodlands and hedgerows are in a conservation area
- if the site is a site of special scientific interest
- the presence of any other statutory orders affecting trees woodlands and hedgerows
