Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Ribble Valley Borough Council offers a Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation Scheme under the name of "Heart Watch".

The 'Heart Watch' exercise programme provides exercise sessions for people of any age, shape or size who are suffering from heart problems or are recovering from a heart attack.

The exercise classes are designed to activate your mind and body in a safe and supportive environment, with fully qualified exercise instructors leading the class and providing expert advice on cardiac exercise.

These classes are a recommended progression from Phase III cardiac rehabilitation programmes.

To gain access to the 'Heart Watch' programme a referral from your Cardiac Nurse is required.
