Paper and Cardboard
Mixed paper and cardboard collection service
Kerbside Collection of Waste Paper and Cardboard
We ask residents to support the Council by putting out their waste paper and cardboard for collection.
The fortnightly kerbside waste paper and cardboard collection service is now undertaken by Ribble Valley Borough Council.
In a drive to increase efficiency and boost recycling rates, residents are being encouraged to recycle more waste paper and cardboard.
Your participation and support will also contribute towards the cost of providing the service through income generated as a result of the paper and cardboard collected.
Please put your white sack out by 7.30am on the day of collection.
Residents are provided with a re-usable, white, polypropylene sack for paper and cardboard recycling. Additional sacks are available on request or alternatively carrier bags or cardboard boxes can be used.
This service operates separately to the normal refuse and recycling collection service. For most residents the day for paper and cardboard collection will differ from that of the normal refuse and recycling collection service.
A waste paper and cardboard collection schedule is delivered to every home each year (April - March) which provides the days / dates for collection.
Your sack must be presented at the collection point by no later than 7.30 am on the morning of collection and be clearly visible, otherwise it may not be collected until the next date of collection.
