Collection of leaf fall
The Council employ two additional mechanical sweepers during October to February each year to assist with the removal of leaves from the roads and footpaths within the Ribble Valley.
Over 700 tonnes of leaves are normally swept up from off the roads and footpaths during the autumn and winter, all of which are mixed with the garden waste from your green wheeled bins and sent for composting.
