Consultation on Draft Policy for the Determination of Applications for Sex Establishments
On 14 December 2010, the Council resolved to adopt the provisions of the Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1982 as amended by the Policing and Crime Act 2009. The Council has subsequently drafted a policy for the determination of applications for sex establishments. At its meeting on 6 September 2011, the Council's Licensing Committee was minded to adopt the policy, but has deferred its decision until the conclusion of a 10 week consultation period in order to afford interested parties an opportunity to make representations.
