Gambling Act 2005
Consultation on the review of the Council's Statement of Principles
Closing date for responses to the consultation is the end of December 2009.
The Gambling Act 2005 requires that every local authority publish a Statement of Principles that it applies when exercising its functions under the Act. The Act also requires that the local authority review the policy at least every 3 years and as such, our existing policy needs to be renewed in January 2010.
