Creative Skills Database
The Creative Skills Database is a directory developed by the Arts Development Service to provide an efficient and valuable source of creative contacts and the skills that they can provide.
People on the database vary from Animaters to Toy-makers that are based predominantly in the North West of England.
The Arts Development service use this database to search for suitable artists / creative businesses on request or when developing future projects and events e.g.
- Schools wanting an artist to deliver a project with their pupils
- A member of the public wanting to commission an artwork
- Community groups that want to employ artists to be part of a festival
- Public art commissions
- Artists wanting to collaborate with other artists
- Exhibition opportunities
