Kath Baron Paintings From The World Of Nature
18th June to 17th July
Kath Baron came to the attention of Clitheroe Castle Museum when her portrayal of a group of flamingos won the Selector's Prize at last year's Ribble Valley Open Art Exhibition, Inspired.

Paintings From The World Of Nature reflect the artist's enjoyment of time spent walking with the Clitheroe Naturalists group, visiting beautiful areas from the West Coast of Lancashire to the Yorkshire Dales. Looking closley at nature's flora and fauna. The paintings are based on photography taken by the artist while out walking.
Kath Baron has just completed a BA in Fine Art at the University Centre at Blackburn College. She is influenced by artists whos work reflects the scenes of life which surround them, including John Constable (1776 - 1837), Samuel Palmer (1805 - 81), Henri Rousseau (1844 - 1910) and Paul Morrison (born 1966)
