Coaching Courses & Volunteering
V-Inspired Programme
What is the programme?
V is the national programme for any person 14-25 years old who wishes to volunteer in some capacity. This programme is the replacement of Millennium Volunteers; therefore whether or not you have gained any previous volunteering experience, there are a number of opportunities and placements available to you:
- Short Term: taster/one off session e.g. Lancashire Youth Games
- Part Time: 1-30 hours of volunteering per week e.g. Regular placement in a sports club
- Full Time - up to 13 weeks of 30 hours of volunteering per week e.g. Work experience in a local authority
These different placements can involve work in any of the following settings: local sports club, local sports development team, county sports partnership, local leisure centre, local youth group (with a sports theme) or an after-school club that has a direct link with a local sports club
If you are a placement provider and have opportunities for volunteers, please download and complete the V-Programme registration form for clubs/organisations offering a placement
If you are a young person seeking a placement or have a suitable placement and would like to register on the scheme please download and complete the V-Programme resgistration form
