V-Inspired Programme
What is the programme?
V is the national programme for any person 14-25 years old who wishes to volunteer in some capacity. This programme is the replacement of Millennium Volunteers; therefore whether or not you have gained any previous volunteering experience, there are a number of opportunities and placements available to you:
2. Part Time - 1-30 hours of volunteering per week e.g. Regular placement
in a sports club
3. Full Time - up to 13 weeks of 30 hours of volunteering per week e.g.
Work Experience in a local authority
These different placements can involve work in any of the following settings : local sports club, local sports development team, county sports partnership, local leisure centre, local youth group (with a sports theme) or an after-school club that has a DIRECT LINK with a local sports club.
