Bowland - an Inspirational Landscape

Part of Bowland Arts Festival in conjunction with Green Close Studios.
The Platform Gallery presents a group of newly commissioned work in ceramics by Dawn Youll that responds to the unique environment that makes up the Forest of Bowland AONB.
Alongside the commission there will also be a group exhibition of craftwork that investigates the broader themes of landscape as well as issues such as diversity, ecology and sustainability.
Exhibits include sustainable furniture by Philippe Handford and Paul Case, ceramics made from recycled aggregates by Sarah Jerath and textile sculptures by Ann Goddard.
Other exhibitors include Janet Browne and Annwyn Dean (textiles), Heather Cooke (papier mache vessels), Andrew Coomber (precious one-off jewellery), Julie Miles (ceramics) and Particle Article (mixed media).
