Working Wood 20 July - 28 Sept 2013
This exhibition brings together a select group of makers who work with the most amazing of natural materials - wood.
The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the many different working methods for this material. Fine works in veneer, wood turning with a twist, sculpture and bespoke furniture are all included. Traditional techniques such as hand carving sit alongside works that utilise the latest technologies. The material, warm, tactile and familiar unites them.
