By researching the financial implications of new legislation and changes in council policies you will help to ensure that we remain financially fit for the future.

 

You will also be responsible for the revenue budget preparation, monitoring and closure of the final accounts for the council's Health and Housing Committee services and also assist in the same for the capital programme.

 

Post-qualification experience in Local Authority finance, especially financial and management reporting, budget monitoring and closing of accounts is essential.  CPFA qualified, you will have excellent technical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to present and work alone or as part of a team.
