Salary: £27,052 to £28,636 per annum pro rata

Location: Council Offices

Salary Scale:  SO2 (scp 32-34)  £27,052 to £28,636 per annum pro rata
18.5 Hours Per Week (Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday all day)
Fixed term contract until 28 February 2015


The Council seeks to promote the social, economic, cultural and physical wellbeing of the community and sees partnership working as a key element of this aim.


You will help develop this role. A good relationship-builder with a community focus, you will work with the business, voluntary, political and other community sectors.


Your main objective will be to promote and develop partnership working across a wide range of agencies, working with parish councils and building community capacity.


An effective communicator and problem-solver, you should have experience of partnership working in the public or voluntary sector.


A full driving licence and the flexibility to work outside normal office hours are essential.
