Pool Fundraiser For Aqua Run

Published Friday 6th May 11

A council swimming pool is to host an open day to raise cash for an inflatable aqua run.

The event, at Ribblesdale Pool, Clitheroe, on Monday, May 30, will feature a host of family fun activities, including swimming lessons, mini-golf, beat-the-goalie, a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, face painting and a Punch and Judy show.

There will also be refreshments and fancy goods stalls, and a unique underwater photography session!

The event, from 9am to 5pm, aims to raise cash for an inflatable obstacle course, called an aqua run, for use at Ribblesdale Pool's weekend family fun sessions.

The aqua runs are proving a huge hit with youngsters across the country and are a fun away to enjoy pool activities.

Everyone is welcome at the event and further details are available from Ribblesdale Pool on 01200 424825.
