Ribble Valley Borough Council

Residents Invited to Help Shape Web Site

Published Tuesday 22nd January 13

Ribble Valley residents and anyone who uses or has used Ribble Valley Borough Council's web site are invited to take part in an online survey.

The council is redesigning its web site and would like feedback from residents and users.

The council's ICT manager, Stuart Haworth, said: "The council is currently redesigning its web site and to enable us to do this effectively we would like the views of our customers.

"We aim for the web site to be as user-friendly and informative as possible, and views expressed in the survey will be taken into account during the redesign."

The survey includes questions on use of the site and ease of searches, and includes a number of simple tasks, such as how to buy a parking permit, or apply for a temporary event notice. It also asks respondents' views on social media, such as Facebook and Twitter.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be confidential. It is available to complete online, see Ribble Valley Website Review January 2013 and the deadline for responses is Friday 1 February.
