Don't Lose Your Vote in County Elections

Ribble Valley residents are reminded that the deadline for joining the borough's register of electors in time for the forthcoming Lancashire County Council elections is Wednesday 17 April.

Elections will be held in Lancashire's four Ribble Valley wards of Clitheroe, Longridge with Bowland, Ribble Valley North East and Ribble Valley South West on Thursday 2 May. A list of Lancashire County Council Election Candidates is now available.

The deadline for the submission of application forms for inclusion on the register of electors is 5.00pm on 17 April.

Voters unable to attend a polling station in person can apply to vote by post or proxy. The deadline for requests for a postal vote or to change an existing postal or proxy vote is also 5.00pm on Wednesday 17 April.

The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy, except medical emergencies, is 5.00pm on Wednesday 24 April.

Polling takes place on Thursday 2 May, from 7.00am to 10.00pm.
