Discussions Open on Village Pub's Future

Published Wednesday 8th January 14

Residents and community groups in Ribble Valley are invited to a public meeting to discuss the future of the Black Bull Hotel in Rimington.

The hotel's owners have announced their intention to sell it, but as it is included on the Ribble Valley Register of Community Assets groups and individuals are entitled to express an interest in acquiring the site as a community facility, before it goes on the market.

The meeting will take place at the Rimington Memorial Institute at 7.00pm on Thursday 9 January, and anyone interested in acquiring the hotel as a community asset is invited to attend.

Alternatively, they can register their interest with Ribble Valley Borough Council's head of legal and democratic services, Diane Rice, on 01200 414418, by Monday 13 January.
