Arts and Crafts Guild of Lancashire Exhibition

Brabins Gallery is delighted to welcome twenty artists from the Arts and Crafts of Lancashire who are exhibiting their work during July. The Guild is an association of artists, designers and makers who are selected for the quality and originality of their work. Set up in 1986, it was established to provide a support network for professional artists who are self employed, creating and selling their own designs. The artists are presenting a delightful variety of media and techniques which will ensure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Time: 09:00 - 17:30. Location: Brabins Gallery Chipping. Cost: Free.

This walk will be at a MODERATE pace. It may involve stiles and steps, off road-walking and gradients. Allow up to an hour and a half to complete. All enq 01200 414484. Start time 1.30pm.

A short tennis competition for primary schools in the Ribble Valley for pupils in school years 3,4 and 5.

This beautiful summer exhibition will feature work by makers from across the UK who explore plant forms and structures in their work. The exhibition will include works in metal, glass, ceramics and mixed media, as well as smaller scale works in jewellery.
Botanic Gardens will offer a range if contemporary approaches to this subject area, which has offered an endless source of inspiration to artists. From amkers who minutely explore the intimate forms and structures of native and tropical flora to those who take broader inspiration from the botanicla world, the results will not fail to fascinate and delight the viewer.
All works will be for sale and the gallery operates the Own Art purchasing Scheme operated by Arts Council England.
