Arts Development Funding Support

The aim of Arts Development Funding Support is for Ribble Valley Borough Council to invest in the development and improvement of arts activity throughout the borough. Supporting and promoting the future culture, health and wellbeing of the Ribble Valley community.

Ribble Valley Recreation and Culture Grant Fund

The purpose of the fund is to make a significant contribution towards the development and improvement of recreation /cultural activity in the borough. The fund is only available to organisations that are purely not-for-profit and the application must be for the benefit of people in the Ribble Valley.

Arts Excellence Awards Scheme

Arts Excellence grants are awarded by Ribble Valley Borough Council and are designed to assist young talented performer’s progress in their chosen activity. The main aim of the scheme is to help with the cost of tuition, travel and equipment associated with your activity.

The Craven Trust

Gives grants (generally £100 - £1000) to community groups in Waddington www.craventrust.org.uk

Regional Funding

Lancashire County Council, Grant Aid for Arts Projects

Provide grants for creative work that contributes to the overall development of the arts in Lancashire. Supporting arts organisations and development initiatives. Lancashire County Council, Environmental Projects

Lancashire Environmental Fund

The Lancashire Environmental Fund provides landfill tax funding for a wide variety of projects to improve the environment and bring community benefits throughout the county of Lancashire. See Lancashire Environmental Fund

 

National Funding

Arts Council England

The Arts Council fund art activities that engage people in England, or that help artists and organisations carry out their work. Grants for the Arts is the main open application process for Arts Council Funding. Other funds are available including, Digital Research and Development Fund for Arts and Culture, Take it Away - helping 18 - 25 year olds buy an instrument with an interest free loan of up to £2,000. Clore Duffield Foundation

A foundation that is a grant-making charity which concentrates its support on cultural learning, creating learning spaces within arts and heritage organisations, www.cloreduffield.org.uk

Heritage Lottery Fund

Using money raised through the National lottery, the Heritage Lottery Fund gives grants to sustain and transform our heritage with grants from £3,000 to over £5 million. www.hlf.org.uk

Big Lottery Fund

Big Lottery Fund gives out millions of pounds from National Lottery to good causes. Their money goes to community groups and to projects that improve health, education and the environment. See ww.biglotteryfund.org.uk

Awards for All

A lottery grants scheme aimed at local communities. They award grants of between £500 and £5,000 in a simple and straightforward way. www.awardsforall.org.uk
