Call for entries for the Craft Open 2019 Exhibition April 20 – June 30 2019

Annual exhibition, highlighting the wealth of talented craft makers surrounding the Platform Gallery. Connecting visitors with local contemporary makers and their crafts. Entries from designers, makers and artists are being accepted deadline for submission is 2nd March. Submit up to 6 pieces for selection.

Awards will be given for :

  • Selectors’ Prize
  • Ribble Valley Prize
  • Best Newcomer Prize
  • The People’s Prize

Spring Event Stall Hire - April

We invite you to apply for a Platform Gallery Arts and Craft event. This three day event will capture the busiest days of our week, covering Thursday to Saturday with a focus on high quality artists and designers who are local to this area, stalls will be set up throughout the gallery offering wall space, tables and access to power points. We encourage makers to work alongside their display.

Exhibition and Shop submissions

We welcome submissions from makers of contemporary craft that is hand produced, original in design and high in quality. To submit your work for selection, please send the following by email for the attention of the Platform Gallery Supervisor to :

  •  4-6 good quality images with description, size and prices (please limit total size to under 1MB.)
  • weblinks to relevant websites / social media pages

We do not exhibit painting or photography.

The Mix

The Mix is the Platform Gallery and Visitor Information Centre’s room available to hire. This flexible space provides the public with a unique space that can be used for a wide variety of uses. For more information on The Mix and the Fresh Art and Craft Stalls please see The Mix page.
