On the first weekend of every month, Clitheroe’s Platform Gallery hosts FRESH, an event dedicated to showcasing four independent makers and artists. Selected for quality and variety a broad spectrum of makers will feature in the FRESH events throughout the year, introducing you to local talent.

This Months exhibitors are;

Barking Mad – Woodturning

From Blackburn, Lancashire. Ken & Carole Barnes creations are made lovingly, with skill, craftsmanship and imagination.  Original and fluid designs create unique gifts and useful additions to make a statement in any home.

Lesley Woods – Ceramics

From Sawley, Lancashire. Lesley will be displaying her garden themed hand built ceramics. Elves, frogs, snails, green men and fairy doors. If you want to take up pottery as a hobby enquire with Lesley about her regular classes delivered in the Ribble Valley.

Sharon Shaul – Feltmaking

From Darwen, Lancashire. 2D Needle felt landscapes embellished by hand and machine work. Felted necklaces and brooches and handwoven scarves.

Bonkers Clutterbucks – Diorama Box Pieces

From Haslingden, Lancashire. Breathing life into vintage tins and boxes creating whimsical curios complete with 3D scenes and characters in period dress.
