Ribble Valley to move into Tier 3 coronavirus alert level

Ribble Valley is to move into the Tier 3 ‘very high’ coronavirus alert level from Wednesday 2 December along with the rest of Lancashire.

This means socialising will be banned indoors and in most outdoor places with people you don't live with, or who are not in your bubble.

Most hospitality, accommodation and entertainment venues will remain closed and you should work from home where possible.

Shops, leisure centres and gyms, and personal care services such as hairdressers and barbers will be permitted to open.

Places of worship can open, but people cannot interact with anyone they don't live with.
