Lateral flow testing in Ribble Valley

We can all do our bit to break the transmission of coronavirus.

Up to a third of people with Covid-19 have no symptoms and by rapidly identifying these asymptomatic cases we can stop the spread of the virus.

Lateral flow testing is a simple way to keep yourself, friends, family, colleagues and customers safe.

Everyone is entitled to free twice-weekly lateral flow tests.

The tests are quick, easy and free. They take less than 10 minutes and you will get the result within half an hour.

You can get tested and collect up to two boxes of seven kits for free from centres in Clitheroe, Longridge and Whalley.

Ribble Valley Lateral Flow Testing Centre

Ribble Valley Borough Council has set up a lateral flow testing centre outside the council offices in Church Walk, Clitheroe.

The centre is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm, and Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm.

Further details are available from lateralflow@ribblevalley.gov.uk or 01200 414597.

Pop-up lateral flow testing centres and collection points are available at Whalley Village Hall on Tuesdays from 9am to 4pm and Longridge Civic Hall on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12pm to 6pm.

If you test positive, you must self-isolate for 10 days and follow Government guidelines.
