This is a support role with specific responsibility to undertake general environmental health duties with particular responsibility for pollution control, private sector housing and resolving general nuisance complaints whilst the Council seeks to meet other service priorities.
You will be an important member of a small and busy environmental health team.
We have an excellent unit of enthusiastic officers committed to delivering a high quality service. We are keen to develop both our people and our service levels and are seeking a candidate to do this during a period a maternity leave.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and self-motivated person with a strong commitment for pollution control and resolving nuisance, whilst applying sensible pragmatic standards and approach.
