We are seeking an experienced planner who has significant knowledge of the planning system as well as current planning legislation, policies and procedures. You will work on a broad mix of rural/urban and small/large scale schemes and submit reports to Planning Committee for approval.
You will have added input into the enforcement aspect of planning and work closely with the enforcement officers.
Responsible for the supervision of a planning officer, you will be able to share your experience and work with the wider planning team.
IT competency is a must as well as flexibility as we are a small local authority covering a huge geographical area. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are both required for this post.
Ideally you will already be a member of the RTPI but must be eligible for membership based on your qualifications and experience.
