Senior Revenues Officer
Resources Department

SO2  (scp 26-28)  £30,451 to £32,234 per annum
37 Hours Per Week

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Revenues Section and Cash Office, you will attend court hearings and valuation tribunals, as well as managing valuation banding, arranging property inspections and dealing with appeals from customers.

With an IRRV qualification (or equivalent), you must have supervisory experience as well as knowledge of council tax and rating legislation and practice.

Communication skills are essential; a familiarity with the Northgate revenues system, legal proceedings and interpretation of new legislation would be useful.

A standard DBS check will be required for this post.
