Recovery Officer

This vacancy is: Permanent full time

Salary: Scale 6 (scp 18-22) £24,982 to £27,041 per annum

Location: Clitheroe

37 Hours Per Week

Reporting to the Senior Revenues Officer, you will be responsible for the recovery of both council tax and the national non-domestic rate.  Your duties will include issuing recovery notices, dealing with bankruptcies and insolvencies, determining Enforcement Agent action and representing the council at magistrates’ court.

With proven experience within a revenues department you will have knowledge of council tax and NNDR legislation, together with excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately and to strict deadlines on your own initiative.

Government guidance of working safely is being followed at the Council’s offices.

A standard DBS check will be required for this post.
