It is with deep sorrow that we have learnt of the death of, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

We remember with gratitude Prince Philip’s life and his dedication to public service. As a mark of respect the Clitheroe Castle flag will fly at half-mast and will remain at half-mast until after Prince Philip is laid to rest.

Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty the Queen, the Royal Family and the nation at this sad time.
