A new website aims to put Ribble Valley’s arts scene in the frame.
The website, rvarts.co.uk, aims to boost the borough’s arts sector and attract visitors to the area by offering comprehensive information on a broad range of arts activity.
The site, devised and funded by Ribble Valley Borough Council, includes a directory of arts practitioners, an events diary, information on places to visit and workshops, and regular e-newsletters.
Artists featured on the web site represent the broad range of arts activity in Ribble Valley, including music, visual art, craft, photography, poetry, theatre and film.

Ribble Valley Borough Council’s arts development officer, Katherine Rodgers, said: “There are many talented artists and creative businesses based in Ribble Valley and this web site will give the public direct access to them, as well as the broad programme of events they provide.
“We hope residents and arts enthusiasts will visit and spread the word about rvarts.co.uk, thus helping the borough’s arts scene to grow and thrive.”
