Have Your Say on Chatburn Housing NeedsPublished Thursday, 20 October 2016
Housing needs in Chatburn are the subject of a survey being undertaken by Ribble Valley Borough Council.
The survey is part of a rolling programme of housing needs surveys being undertaken across the borough by the council’s housing team.
The results will provide valuable information on the housing needs of the village, particularly of the young and elderly, and will be used to assess whether future planning proposals meet local need.
Simon Hore, chairman of Ribble Valley Borough Council’s health and housing committee, said: “The surveys allow us to plan for future housing needs, particularly in villages where there is a chronic lack of affordable accommodation, and we are inviting Chatburn residents to have their say.”
The survey is currently being delivered to households in Chatburn, or is available from Ribble Valley Borough Council on 01200 425111. Only one survey per household will be considered.
