Don’t Lose Your Vote in County Elections

Ribble Valley residents are reminded that the deadline for joining the borough’s register of electors in time for the forthcoming Lancashire County Council elections is 5pm next Thursday (13 April)

Elections will be held in Lancashire County Council’s four Ribble Valley wards of Clitheroe, Longridge with Bowland, Ribble Valley North East and Ribble Valley South West on Thursday, 4 May.

Voters unable to attend a polling station in person can apply to vote by post or proxy. The deadline for postal vote applications or to change an existing postal or proxy vote is 5pm on Tuesday, 18 April. The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy, except medical emergencies, is 5pm on Tuesday, 25 April.

Polling takes place on Thursday, May 4, from 7am to 10pm.
