The UK goes to the polls in a snap General Election on Thursday, 8 June, and Ribble Valley residents not registered to vote are advised to do so without delay.
The deadline for joining the borough’s register of electors in time for the General Election is midnight on Monday, 22 May.
And the deadline for registering for a new postal vote or making changes to an existing postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday, 23 May.
To vote, people must be registered to vote, aged 18 years or over, a British, Republic of Ireland or qualifying Commonwealth citizen, and not subject to any legal incapacity to vote.
Polling takes place on Thursday, 8 June, from 7am to 10pm.
