Provision of Mechanical Road Sweepers and Mini-sweeper With Drivers

 

Scheme details

Ribble Valley Borough Council have issued an Invitation to Tender to all those wishing to tender to the council for the provision of mechanical road sweepers with drivers and mini-sweeper with driver.

The contract requires the provision of:

  • One dual sweep mechanical road sweeper with wander hose and driver for 51 weeks per year and 35 hours per week Monday to Thursday and up to 3 additional mechanical road sweepers with wander hose and drivers for up to 24 weeks per vehicle from October for 35 hours per week Monday to Friday (Lot 1).
  • One mini sweeper with outboard jet wash and driver for up to 25 weeks starting October for 35 hours per week Monday to Friday (Lot 2).

The council may consider awarding a single contract or may award separate contracts to different suppliers for each of the lots described above.

The contract will be for an initial contract period of 2 years with an option to extend the contract for a further 2 years.

The closing date for the return of all documents is 2:00pm Friday 20 March 2026.
